ORLANDO, Fla. – On Monday, the Florida Lottery announced the winner of a $1 million prize from the FLORIDA 300X THE CASH scratch-off game.
In a release, lottery officials said that the winner — Johnnie Pleicones, 61, of Orlando — claimed the prize from the Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee, opting for the lump-sum payment of $695,500.

The release shows that Pleicones had bought the winning ticket from ITIG Quick Mart, located at 7105 S. Orange Ave. For selling the ticket, the shop received a $2,000 bonus commission.
“The $30 Scratch-Off game, FLORIDA 300X THE CASH, launched in September 2022 and features more than $1 billion in cash prizes, including four life-changing top prizes of $15 million!” the release reads.

According to lottery officials, these scratch-off games have comprised roughly 74% of ticket sales in FY 2023-2024.
“Additionally, since inception, Scratch-Off games have awarded more than $65.5 billion in prizes, created 2,283 millionaires, and generated more than $19.80 billion for the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.”
