JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A barefoot man was caught wrestling a large alligator along the side of Interstate 95 on Monday, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
In a release, officers said that the man — identified as the “Blue Collar Brawler” — joined forces with the JSO and the FWC to “wrangle this beast off the road and keep everyone safe.”
“Just another totally normal day in the Sunshine State,” the release reads.
Video released by the JSO shows the man snagging the alligator with a catch pole in the grassy median, though he soon subdued the massive reptile and put him in the back of a truck.
“Never in my wildest dreams...” someone can be heard saying the video.
The “Blue Collar Brawler” lists himself as the founder of Project Savior Outdoors, a nonprofit with the mission to “fight veteran suicide through the outdoors and sharing the true freedom that comes through Jesus Christ.”
