SpaceX launches Falcon 9 rocket from Space Coast

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – SpaceX launched another batch of Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from the Florida coast on Tuesday evening.

The space agency said the launch of the Falcon 9 rocket carrying 28 Starlink satellites lifted off from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 9:17 p.m.

According to a news release, this was the seventh flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched Crew-9, RRT-1, Firefly Blue Ghost Mission 1, Fram2 and two Starlink missions.

Following stage separation, the first stage landed on the Just Read the Instructions droneship, which was stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
