MOUNT DORA, Fla. – Mount Dora’s fire and water departments are conducting routine fire hydrant testing throughout the city.
During the testing, residents may notice brief periods of discolored or “brown water” coming from their faucets. The discoloration is a result of the hydrant testing process, but crews are actively flushing the system to improve water clarity, the city said in a statement.
