WINTER PARK, Fla. – Full Sail University has announced it has implemented a workforce reduction, cutting dozens of jobs.

In a statement to News 6, the private university said the decision affects 120 employees, primarily in staff positions, with a small number of faculty included in the reduction.

The university emphasized that the decision was made after a careful review of resources and capabilities, focusing on long-term sustainability.

A full statement from FSU administrators reads as follows:

“As part of our efforts to align our staffing with current priorities and to support the long-term success of the university, we have implemented a workforce reduction. This included 120 employees, comprised primarily of staff positions, with some faculty as part of the reduction. This decision, while difficult, follows a careful review that aligns our resources and capabilities for long-term sustainability.

We stand firmly committed to providing an exceptional educational experience. There will be no changes to our course offerings or services as we remain confident in our ability to meet the needs of our students and graduates."
