KISSIMMEE, Fla. – A Kissimmee woman on Friday claimed a $2 million prize from a scratch-off game that she bought in town, according to Florida Lottery.
Pamela Pontes Cordeiro Silva, 32, opted to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,195,000, a Florida Lottery news release states.
She bought the winning “SILVER STREAK” ticket from the Wawa at 7940 W. Irlo Bronson Highway in Kissimmee, according to the release.
The retailer received a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket, the release states.

“SILVER STREAK” is a $10 game that features more than $104 million in total cash prizes, including four top prizes of $2 million and 358 prizes of $10,000, with overall winning odds of 1-in-3.44, Florida Lottery said.
