Have an a-maize-ing time at the 2025 Mount Dora Corn Festival

MOUNT DORA, Fla. – If you’re looking to pop outside and enjoy the Central Florida weather before hurricane season kicks in, head over the the 2025 Mount Dora Corn Festival.

This will be the second year for the festival, which Mount Dora has added to its already busy lineup of festivals.

The festival is planned for Saturday, May 24 from noon until 7 p.m.

Last year’s festival had an impressive turnout over two days of buttery goodness.

"Join us for a celebration of agriculture, community, and the golden goodness of Zellwood sweet corn at the Mount Dora Corn Festival! Embracing our rich agricultural heritage, we invite you to indulge in a day filled with corn-themed delights, family fun, and fantastic entertainment," the city of Mount Dora’s website states.

Admission to this year’s festival is $20 in advance or $25 at the gate. For children ages 4-9, it’s $10 while those age 3 and under are free.

Organizers encourage attendees to bring blankets and chairs.

According to the festival’s website, there will be a corn on the cob eating contest, a cornbread cook-off, corn food vendors, a children’s area, petting zoo and concert performances.
