COCOA, Fla. – UPDATE: Kevin Willis, 22, has been safely located, the Cocoa Police Department said in a statement.
ORIGINAL STORY: Cocoa police are asking the public for information in their search for a missing deaf man who’s considered endangered.
Kevin Willis, 22, was last seen around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday in the area of 1044 Holmes St., the Cocoa Police Department said on social media.
Willis is developmentally delayed, is deaf in both ears and can only communicate in American Sign Language or with other gestures, according to the post.
He attends the Cocoa High School B.L.A.S.T. program but did not get on the bus Wednesday morning and may have wandered off, never arriving to the campus, the post states.
He was last seen wearing a T-shirt for the Cocoa High School B.L.A.S.T. program, police said.
