– A legendary guitar once owned by Kurt Cobain has become the centerpiece of a new exhibition at London’s Royal College of Music, according to CBS news.
The rare Martin D-18E electro-acoustic guitar stands as the last instrument the Nirvana frontman played before his death. Cobain used it during the band’s MTV Unplugged performance in 1993, just months before his tragic death at age 27.
