ORLANDO, Fla. – A $1,000 reward is being offered for a bronze eagle statue in downtown Orlando that disappeared in April.
Crimeline on Tuesday posted the reward information on X, saying, “Need help, do you know who has the eagle statue? Give a tip at http://Crimeline.org."
Last month, Orlando police said the statue was taken during a break-in at a law firm owned by a “well-respected attorney who recently passed away.”
The theft occurred near East Pine Street and South Court Avenue, and the statue was last seen on April 19, the release stated.
“Detectives believe the suspects dumped the statue at a specific location, but it was no longer there when police searched the area,” the release reads. “The statue holds deep sentimental value for the attorney’s widow, and efforts are underway to recover it.”
Anyone with information about the statue is urged to contact Orlando police.
