The series wraps on Aug. 5 with the animated “Lilo and Stitch.”
Tickets are $5 per person for each show, and can only be purchased online on the Summer Flix at the Garden website.
The Garden Theatre, a staple in the city since 1935, closed last fall over financial issues.
In April, city leaders unanimously approved a plan to revive the venue with a mix of concerts, movies, special events and limited rentals. The movie series is the first event under the new plan.
A city spokesperson says other events are coming for later in the year, but they have not been finalized yet.
Visitors should look for more events to come on the City of Winter Garden website.
