Police on Thursday identified the married couple as Randy Rice and Karen Knight.

Investigators said a gun was in the hand of Rice.

“Based on the preliminary investigation and physical evidence, detectives believe this to be an isolated incident and are investigating it as a likely murder-suicide,” police said in a statement.

There is no ongoing threat to the community, police said.

Authorities said there were no previous calls to the home.

An investigation is ongoing.
