WINTER PARK, Fla. – A person was hospitalized after being injured in a shooting Thursday in Winter Park, according to police.
Officers responded around 5:55 p.m. to a shooting reported in the 1500 block of Village Lane, the Winter Park Police Department said in a statement.

Police located a person who was then taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, the statement reads.
An investigation is ongoing.
