PORT ORANGE, Fla. – A motorcycle driver was sent to the hospital in critical condition after a crash on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Port Orange Police Department.
In a release, police said the crash happened around 3 p.m. at the intersection of northbound Nova Road and Herbert Street.

The crash involved a collision between an SUV and the motorcycle, though the SUV driver didn’t report any injuries at the scene, police added.
Meanwhile, the motorcycle driver was taken to Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach for treatment due to his/her injuries, the release states.
