🌽 Broadway tour of new musical ‘Shucked’ coming to Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Tony-Award-winning musical comedy, “Shucked” is touring 30 cities across the country, with a stop in Orlando next week.

The show is about a small southern town battling with the corn crop mysteriously dying. A young woman travels to Tampa, Florida, to get some help, only to run into a con man posing as a “corn doctor.”

The musical is known for its jokes and country score, along with a storyline featuring romance and some social commentary.

In 2023, “Shucked” won a Tony Award. Alex Newell won the Tony for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical. The show received nine Tony Award nominations overall.
