FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – Two drug houses were shut down this week following an investigation in Palm Coast, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.

In a release, deputies said they searched one of the homes along Rosecroft Lane on Tuesday, arresting 37-year-old Ryan McArthur in the process.

Deputies identified McArthur as a fugitive with an active warrant out of Volusia County in a fentanyl-trafficking case, though he initially refused to comply with investigators during Tuesday’s raid.

Eventually, SWAT team members found him through a bathroom window, where he was seen trying to flush narcotics down the toilet, deputies added.

After breaching the window, SWAT team members were ultimately able to get McArthur to exit the home, the release states.

And on Wednesday morning, deputies and SWAT team members searched another home, this time at 45 Bruning Lane. Investigators said this raid yielded one arrest: 38-year-old Eric Lamb, who was found on the patio behind the house.

“During the search of the residence, detectives located and seized methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia with cocaine residue...” the release reads. “Additionally, detectives determined that Lamb was in violation of probation from prior arrests in both Flagler and Volusia counties.”

Now, McArthur faces charges of fentanyl possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest without violence, and his out-of-county warrant.

Meanwhile, Lam faces charges of methamphetamine possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both men are held without bond.

“They say the early bird catches the worm,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “Well, our SIU and SWAT team had two early mornings in a row because the early bird catches the drug dealer, too!”
