Brazilian ‘illegal aliens’ arrested in Florida amid international homicide case

ORLANDO, Fla. – A pair of Brazilian “illegal aliens” were arrested in Central Florida amid an international homicide case, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

In a release on Thursday, FDLE officials identified the pair as Lafaiett Pereira and Marcia De Oliveira.

“(Pereira) was wanted on an active INTERPOL Red Notice for homicide while his wife was running her own unlawful business in the U.S.,” the release reads.

According to the FDLE, both Pereira and Oliveira had violated the conditions of their nonimmigrant visas and were thus labeled as a “deportable alien.”

No additional information about the homicide case has been provided at this time.
