ROCKLEDGE, Fla. – Two Rockledge restaurant owners who briefly found themselves behind bars in a multistate-scam investigation have had their charges dropped, according to Wisconsin court records.
Dongdong Ye, 38, and his wife Mei Mei Dong, 36, are the owners of Da Sushi.

They were both released on bond earlier this month after being arrested on accusations that they tricked elderly victims in different states — with investigators having mentioned Wisconsin, Ohio and Michigan at least — into wiring them money via some sort of gift-card scam.
Ye and Dong each faced a charge of Theft-False Representation (between $5,000-$10,000) in Wisconsin court.
The charges were officially dismissed on July 16, before their initial appearance, records show.
