VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – Three teens were arrested early Thursday after fleeing police in Sanford and heading into Volusia County, according to the sheriff’s office.
The Volusia Sheriff’s Office shared video of the incident.
According to sheriff’s officials, the teens fled from Sanford police and the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office tracked them into Deltona, where Volusia deputies used stop sticks to disable the vehicle on Providence Boulevard.
The three teens — two 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old — ran from the vehicle into the woods nearby.
Body camera video showed deputies locate the teens. Deputies also found a gun and marijuana in the vehicle, according to the sheriff’s office.
The sheriff’s office said there were two other teens, both girls, who had stayed in the car and were released to their parents.
