OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A small plane made an emergency landing Wednesday along a road near Kissimmee, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
The plane landed just west of Ham Brown Road on U.S. 17-92, the sheriff’s office said on social media.
The plane made contact with a vehicle while it landed, but no injuries were reported, the post states.
Drivers in the area were urged to use caution and to remain alert for emergency personnel amid ongoing activity, the sheriff’s office said around 12:09 p.m., specifying the rightmost eastbound lane of U.S. 17-92 was blocked at the intersection.
The sheriff’s office said in a statement that the four-passenger Cessna had two people on board at the time of the landing. It was stopped off the road fully intact and no one was injured, the statement reads.
