19-year-old critically injured after nearly drowning in Lake Down in Orange County Friends pulled man from water, deputies say No description found
WINDERMERE, Fla. – A 19-year-old is in critical condition after a near-drowning Monday night in an Orange County lake, officials said.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday said the man was with a group of friends at Lake Down in Windermere when he jumped from a dock into the water and began to struggle.
The man went underwater before his friends pulled him out of the lake, deputies said.
The 19-year-old was taken to a hospital and was in critical condition as of Tuesday, sheriff’s officials said.
No other details have been released.
