‘I’m gonna f****** blow you guys up:’ Drunken outburst lands Florida woman in jail

Kristin Galli, 29, faces charge of false reporting

ORLANDO, Fla. – A drunken threat landed a Florida woman in jail earlier this year, according to court records obtained by News 6.

In an arrest affidavit released this week, police said that the incident happened back in May, which is when the woman — identified as Kristin Galli, 29 — called the front desk at the University of Central Florida’s Student Care Services.

Per investigators, Galli stated over the phone, “I’m gonna (expletive) blow you guys up,” before immediately hanging up the call. She also did not answer a return call from Student Care Services.

“Kristin was identified due to her voicemail box and phone number on UCF student files,” the affidavit reads. “Kristin sent over 200 incoherent text messages from the same phone number used to place the threat to bomb to a UCF professor. The text messages included pictures of herself and were reported by the professor.”

A day later, police said they contacted Galli via phone and asked about the bomb threat. At the time, she reportedly confirmed that she was angry and admitted it was a mistake.

“I thought it would be funny, and I was drunk when I called,” Galli told police.

As a result of the incident, Galli was arrested and faces charges of false reporting of bombing against a state-owned property and unlawful use of a two-way communication device. Her next hearing is scheduled for Aug. 21.
