ORLANDO, Fla. – Orange County deputies responded Wednesday afternoon to a shooting at the corner of Wendy Drive and North Lane in Orlando’s Pine Hills neighborhood.
Around 4 p.m., deputies found a 16-year-old who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition, the sheriff’s office said.

Footage showed a large law enforcement presence at the scene, which is just north of Meadowbrook Middle School.
The investigation is active and ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to come forward.
