ORLANDO, Fla. – The UCF Student Union has reopened after being evacuated around noon Wednesday due to a gas leak, according to campus police.
UCF police and fire officials were on hand to assist with the evacuation.
Police reported that the building was “all clear” and reopened about an hour after the evacuation.
Officials with the ORange County Fire Rescue said that they did not detect any hazards and that the case was turned over to UCF police.

UCF officials later said that “it was determined to be a CO2 leak, and FD gave the all-clear shortly after. The building was re-opened and campus operations are normal.”
