ORLANDO, Fla. – A “traveler” was arrested at the Orlando International Airport after a warrant was issued for his arrest, according to U.S. Customs and Border Patrol.
In a release on Monday, CBP Director of Operations Carlos Martel said that officers were able to catch the traveler, who was a confirmed match for an active arrest warrant issued by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Per Martel, that warrant was issued over a charge of homicide/murder with a firearm.
“The individual was immediately turned over to (the sheriff’s office) to face prosecution for these charges,” Martel wrote.
