LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – An 8-year-old boy was flown to the hospital after suffering injuries in a boating accident in Lake County, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
The FWC said the boy was on a pontoon boat with his family on Lake Harris Tuesday evening when he “fell overboard and sustained injuries requiring a life flight to an area hospital.”
According to the FWC, no other boats were involved and the Lake County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the incident.
