ORLANDO, Fla. – Families who will need help this year giving Christmas gifts to children or seniors can sign up for the Salvation Army Angel Tree program now.
Online registration is currently open until Oct. 3 on the Angel Tree website.
Applications are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and the program is capped for each region. Once the maximum number of applications is reached, registration will close, so don’t wait! Remember, it’s one application per person.

If you’re not looking for help yourself, you can help others by adopting your own Angel. There are two ways you can adopt an Angel – virtually or in person.
To adopt virtually, click here. This will lead you to a website to choose the age and gender of your preferred Angel. Once you do that, you’ll see a list of Angels to choose from that meet your criteria.
News 6 is once again partnering with The Salvation Army for the Angel Tree program this year, so check back to see where you can also find the signature Christmas tree full of Angel tags, so you can adopt someone in need.
