MASCOTTE, Fla. – A precautionary boil water notice that was issued Thursday in Mascotte after a 10-inch water main was damaged has been lifted, according to the city.
The city said in a statement Saturday morning that it had received satisfactory bacteriological test results.
At the onset, officials said it was uncertain how many customers may have dipped below the statutory 20 PSI limit. Due to that, city officials issued a city-wide precautionary boil water notice that they said could have extended into the next week.
Crews worked on repairs on Piedmont Court on Thursday, and 15-20 homes were without water.
