Police investigating after 2 found dead at Palm Bay apartment

PALM BAY, Fla. – Police in Palm Bay are investigating the deaths of two people discovered Sunday at an apartment complex, according to a news release.

Police said they responded to the scene at the Ascent of Palm Bay Apartments located at 3350 Wedgewood Drive NE around 7:29 p.m. and “confirmed the death of two individuals inside of an apartment unit.”

According to a news release, the deaths are suspicious in nature, but are not being treated as a homicide.

Police said it was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community.

According to the release, the cause of death for both remain under investigation pending autopsy results.

Police said the investigation remains active.
