Man dies swimming after boat in Daytona Beach, police say Man found underwater after multi-agency search

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A man died Sunday morning while he was swimming after his boat in the Intracoastal Waterway, according to the Daytona Beach Police Department.
Officers responded around 11:40 a.m. to the Orange Avenue Bridge, where someone reported seeing the man swimming after the vessel.
The man was found dead underwater, police said, after a multi-agency search.
No other information was released.
An investigation is underway.
