Water Spring Elementary teacher arrested in child abuse case, police say

Tina Will, 50, faces charges of child abuse and battery

Tina Will, 50 (Orange County Jail)

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A Winter Garden elementary school teacher was arrested last week over a domestic violence incident at her home, according to the police department.

In an arrest affidavit, police said they were called to the teacher’s home on Oct. 14, and the teacher — identified as Tina Will, 50 — had to be taken to the hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, investigators said they learned that Will and her husband had begun arguing, prompting their children to come downstairs and attempt to separate them.

At their children’s suggestion, the husband reportedly went to a room upstairs to get away from Will, but Will instead went upstairs and kicked down one of the doors before starting to argue with the children, investigators added.

“Tina began pulling (REDACTED) hair and pulled out a handful of his hair,” the affidavit reads. “(REDACTED) pushed Tina away from him, and she fell over and hit her face on a three-tier metal basket organizer, causing the laceration to her right eyebrow.”

As a result of the incident, Will was arrested and now faces charges of domestic violence battery and child abuse.
