Orange County home becomes engulfed in flames, killing 1

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – One person died after an Orange County home caught fire on Friday, according to the Winter Garden Fire Department.

Fire officials told News 6 that crews responded to the home along Coscester Street, finding around 75% of the home on fire.

“A victim was located and pronounced dead at the scene,” fire officials wrote.

The WGFD also explained that crews remained at the scene, awaiting the state fire marshal to investigate what caused the fire.

No additional information has been provided at this time, including the victim’s identity.
