SATELLITE BEACH, Fla. – An all clear has been gives after a “swatting call” prompted two schools to temporarily go on a lockdown, according to Brevard Public Schools officials.
Officials said they received a phoned‑in threat to the front office of Satellite High School which led that school and nearby DeLaura Middle School to be placed on the lockdown while Holland Elementary was put in a shelter-in-place.

According to a news release, law enforcement responded and conducted a full search of Satellite High School’s campus, but did not find any threat.

“Following a thorough investigation, authorities confirmed there was no threat present, and the school was given the all clear,” according to the release.
Officials said a similar call was made to another school in a different state today from the same out‑of‑state phone number.
“Our priority remains the safety and well‑being of every student and staff member. We thank our families, staff, and law enforcement for their support," Brevard Public Schools said in their statement.
