Missing 18-year-old now considered ‘endangered,’ Sanford police say

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – A missing 18-year-old man is considered “endangered” after he disappeared on Thursday afternoon, according to the Sanford Police Department.

In a release, police said that the man — identified as Malachi Ian Hollis — lives near Finwick Way in Casselberry.

However, he was last seen in the area of 7450 N. Ronald Reagan Blvd. just after 3:20 p.m. on Thursday, police added.

“His mode of transportation is unknown - he may be on foot or may have received a ride from someone,” the release reads. “Due to mental health concerns, Malachi is considered endangered.”

Hollis is described as being 5 feet, 9 inches tall, and he was last seen wearing a dark blue hospital gown and yellow socks.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact the police department.
