Silver Alert issued for missing Palm Coast man with scar, no teeth

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – A Silver Alert was issued on Wednesday after a Palm Coast man went missing earlier in the week, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

In a release, FDLE officials said that the man — identified as 72-year-old Allyn Schmidt — was last seen in the area of the 50th block of Wood Haven Drive on Monday.

At the time, Schmidt was wearing a yellow Arizona-brand jacket and blue jeans, investigators said. He also has a scar on the right side of his face, no teeth, and may be wearing glasses.

Furthermore, investigators explained that Schmidt could be traveling in a 2020 maroon-colored Ford Edge, with Florida tag number “PCTN36.”

“The vehicle may have rubber ducks in the dashboard,” the release reads. “If located, DO NOT APPROACH. Contact law enforcement.”
