VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – A man was arrested Saturday morning during a child pornography bust at a home in Deltona, according to the Volusia Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said it received a tip in October that Emmanuel Edgardo Trujillo was soliciting sexual pictures from girls, ages 13-16, in exchange for vapes, drugs and gifts online.
“Additionally, it is believed the suspect has met up with at least one juvenile and received sexual favors for the same items,” sheriff’s officials said on social media.
After a two-month investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspect as well as interview one of the victims, a child under the age of 16.
Deputies obtained a search warrant for Trujillo’s home on Halstead Street, where multiple electronics were seized.
Trujillo was arrested and faces charges of possession of child pornography, directing sexual performance of a child, using a computer to solicit child while misrepresenting age, illegal use of a two-way device and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
