EDGEWATER, Fla. – The Edgewater Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating two children taken during a “parental abduction” on Sunday evening, according to a news release.
Police said they responded around 6:30 p.m. to the 600 block of West Indian River Boulevard after receiving a report that a woman, identified as Emily St. Clair, had taken her two children from their father’s vehicle at a gas station.

According to the release, St. Clair followed the children’s father to the location and removed the children from the vehicle when he went inside the store before fleeing the scene.
Police said Eislee Kraus, 7, is described standing about 4 feet tall and weighing between 40 and 50 pounds with blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a one‑piece nightgown, possibly purple.
In addition, Abe Krausl, 5, is described as standing 3 feet 6 inches tall and weighing between 35 and 40 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. His clothing at the time of the incident is unknown.
Police said St. Clair is the children’s mother but is prohibited from contacting them under a Department of Children and Families court order. She also has an active felony warrant for drug possession.
According to the release, St. Clair was last seen as a passenger in a newer‑model Chevrolet Blazer traveling south on U.S. 1.
Police are asking anyone who sees St. Clair or the children not to approach and to call 911 immediately.
