Here’s how to get free parking in downtown Orlando

Free metered parking available through 2026

ORLANDO, Fla. – What would get you to come to downtown Orlando? Would free parking help?

The Downtown Orlando Development Board is extending its ParkDTO program through the end of the year, or until the funds run out.

People who download the ParkMobile app can get free two-hour parking at select metered and non-metered spots throughout the downtown area by using the code ParkDTO.

The map shows where the dozens of eligible parking spots are located. Once you park, enter the zone number listed on the parking meter sign to pay for parking, and to extend your parking session remotely if needed.

The code does not work on parking garage spaces.

The ParkDTO code gives 16 free parking sessions to each app user. The code is also valid 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

More information can be found on the Downtown Orlando website.

Download the ParkMobile by Arrive app through the app store on your mobile device.

The free parking program is meant to help entice more people to visit downtown Orlando’s dining, shopping and entertainment venues.
