LADY LAKE, Fla. – A 12-year-old girl was reported missing in Lady Lake on Wednesday, and deputies warned residents to stay away from her, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
In a release on Wednesday evening, deputies said there was a heavy law enforcement presence near Curve Court and Precedent Parkway.

“Units are currently looking for a 12-year-old white female with red medium-length hair,” the release reads.
Deputies described the missing girl as being 4 feet, 11 inches tall, and weighing around 111 pounds. She was last seen wearing a gray shirt, jeans, and white-and-black crocs.
“PLEASE DO NOT APPROACH THE JUVENILE, AS SHE IS CONSIDERED ARMED,” the release continues.
But later Wednesday evening, the sheriff’s office announced that the girl had been safely located.
