Man shot, killed at Orange County apartments

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man was fatally shot Wednesday night at an Orange County apartment complex, deputies said.

The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of Moselle Avenue near Old Cheney Highway and State Road 436.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to the scene and found a man in his 30s suffering from a gunshot wound.

The man was taken to a hospital, where he died, sheriff’s officials said.

“A suspect has been detained and there is no danger to the community,” OCSO said in a statement. “Our detectives are actively investigating this incident and we do not have further information to release at this time.”
