PALM BAY, Fla. – Three people were injured in a shooting late Friday at a park in Palm Bay, according to police.

Officers responded just before midnight to Castaways Point Park along Bay Boulevard, where individuals wearing ski masks had allegedly approached a vehicle and fired into it, the Palm Bay Police Department said in a news release.

From inside the vehicle, a 21-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds, an 18-year-old man was grazed by a bullet, and a 16-year-old girl suffered a graze wound and further injuries from broken glass, the release states.

Officers searching the park were notified around 12:12 a.m. Saturday that the three victims had made it to Palm Bay Community Hospital, police said.

It’s believed that the shooting occurred during a gathering, according to the release. Police said that a black Mercedes-Benz sedan and/or a Mercedes-Benz SUV may have been involved, but they added detectives had not yet determined whether that information is factual at the time of this report.

No arrests have yet been made in the incident, police said.
