ORLANDO, Fla. – A woman bit an Orlando officer after attacking an elderly person during a “driving dispute,” according to the police department.
In a release on Friday morning, police said they responded to the area of Millenia Boulevard and Millenia Plaza Way after reports of a battery came in on Feb. 23.
Upon arrival, they were shown footage of the woman — later identified as Mandolyn Shaffer-Brockwell — attacking and injuring the elderly victim.

“The victim provided a description of Shaffer-Brockwell and her vehicle, and an officer quickly located her,” the release reads. “When the officer attempted to detain her, she refused to comply, violently resisted, and bit the officer while trying to avoid being handcuffed.”
As a result, Shaffer-Brockwell was arrested and now faces charges of resisting arrest with violence, battery on a victim at least 65 years of age, and burglary with assault/battery.
