ST. CLOUD, Fla. – St. Cloud High School was forced to lock down over an anonymous threat on Tuesday afternoon, according to the police department.
In a release around 2:49 p.m., police said they are investigating the anonymous threat, which school officials had received.

Meanwhile, Principal Nate Fancher explained that the threat was called into the school office after dismissal on Tuesday.
“As a precaution, we placed the students and staff who were still on campus for after-school activities under a secure hold,” he wrote. “All students and staff are safe.”
Shortly before 3:40 p.m., police declared that officers had swept the campus and found no threats, so the precautionary lockdown was lifted and students were released.
