Teachers will have to come back to work on Tuesday, May 26, and Wednesday, May 27, for required planning days.
“Thanks to a full school year with no hurricane day closures, all required instructional minutes will be completed earlier than planned!” the district explained in a post on Facebook.
The district says they are working on details regarding childcare services to accommodate the extra time off, and once those plans are finalized, they will send that information out.
