Death investigation underway at Kissimmee apartment complex 911 caller reported single gunshot at 3100 block of Blue Heron Drive

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Kissimmee police are investigating a death after officers responded to a shooting Tuesday night in a Kissimmee neighborhood.
Officers with the Kissimmee Police Department were dispatched to the 3100 block of Blue Heron Drive after a 911 caller reported hearing a single gunshot. Upon arrival, officers located one person dead at the scene.
Detectives are currently conducting a death investigation. Based on preliminary information, police say the incident appears to be isolated.
No additional information has been released, as the investigation remains active.
