The fire itself is located south of Lake Woodruff, which is just west of DeLand.

The fire has burned about 3,700 acres so far, according to the U.S. Forest Service’s wildfire map.

No structures are in immediate danger, but the fire is kicking up smoke.

Drought-like conditions combined with lightning storms over the weekend have helped ignite these fires.

Fire officials are asking that you do not call for emergency help unless you see active flames.
