SANFORD, Fla. – Sanford police jumped into action on Friday evening after receiving a report of a woman’s death, according to the department.
A spokesperson told News 6 shortly before 10 p.m. that officers had headed to the area of Clairmont Avenue and Terrace Avenue after the woman — only identified as being in her late 60s — was reported dead by a family member.
“At this time, investigators are still assessing the scene,” the spokesperson wrote. “I can provide you with further updates tomorrow morning.”
