Man taken into custody after overnight SWAT standoff in Winter Garden, deputies say

WINTER GARDEN, Fla. – The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is sharing details on why a Winter Garden street was blocked for hours overnight Saturday into Sunday morning.

Deputies responded to the 1100 block of Partlow Drive for a domestic assault call.

The suspect, a man in his 30s, barricaded himself inside the home. A SWAT team eventually took the man into custody without incident, deputies said.

No one was hurt.

The sheriff’s office has not released additional information.
