ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – A 17-year-old is facing adult attempted murder charges after shooting at a teenage girl’s home twice, according to court records.

Zebron Trenton Biggs, of Orlando, was arrested May 27 after the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office linked him to two separate shootings at a home in Altamonte Springs. He was initially charged as a juvenile before prosecutors upgraded the case to adult court in late June.

According to an affidavit filed by the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, Biggs told an Orlando police officer he shot at the home “in an attempt to kill” a 14-year-old girl because “he didn’t want to have a baby with a 14-year-old and that she lied to him about her age.”

Court records show Biggs admitted to two separate shootings — one on May 22 and another on May 24. Surveillance footage from a neighbor’s camera captured a black SUV, consistent with a vehicle registered to Biggs’ mother, slowing in front of the home before approximately seven gunshots were heard.

Biggs told detectives he had also gone to the Altamonte Mall to find the girl before driving to her home on May 24 and opening fire, believing she was inside.

No one was injured in either shooting.

Biggs was charged with two counts of attempted first-degree premeditated murder and is currently being held on no bond. His next court date is July 6.
