“There were also electronic documents on the juvenile’s phone, which expressed his desire to conduct an attack,” the release reads.

Now, the child faces a charge of writing threats to kill or conduct a mass shooting.

“We are eternally grateful to whomever submitted this tip,” the release continues. “Parents, please let this serve as a reminder to have discussions with your children and routinely check in on them and their mental well being.”
